Role Snapshot Position: Full‑time Team Lead (keyholder) Location: The Grove Flagship Store (Los Angeles, CA) Store Opening: July 2026 Compensation: $26–$29 per hour (plus benefits) Job Mission As part of the New Balance Retail Leadership Team, full‑time Retail Team Leads assist with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results, operational duties, and delivering a world‑class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies. Major Responsibilities Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching associates professionally. Be results driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of associates. Assist the store manager in creating the schedule and leading floor moves. Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model. Maintain operational soundness: opening/closing the store, inventory control, procedural compliance. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent. Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures. Requirements for Success Must be 18 years of age or older. 2 years of retail supervisory experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent education. Demonstrated leadership ability. Strong customer service and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 4 lbs. frequently; up to 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes up to 50 lbs.; stand extended periods; climb ladders and stairs as required.
