Job Summary:
The Indianapolis, Indiana area is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a position in a surgical progressive care unit. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to facilitate a seamless onboarding process.

Job Details:

• Position: RN in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0730, with a weekend rotation every third weekend and holiday rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure (RN), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum of 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular progressive care units, experience working with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients, experience with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other stepdown or progressive care units.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work with patients in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU), including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients. The role is based on a 36-hour minimum per week schedule, with a 12-hour shift length.
