Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) in South Orange Village, NJ

We are a small, patient-focused dental practice in South Orange Village seeking a caring and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team of four. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building relationships with patients and providing gentle, thorough dental care in a welcoming environment.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly pay: $50–$55/hour (DOE)
• Preferred availability: Mondays and/or Tuesdays
• Thursday or Friday full-day availability may also be considered for the right candidate

• Single office location — no travel between offices

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Review medical history
• Perform adult and child prophylaxis
• Evaluate and detect periodontal conditions
• Provide oral hygiene instructions
• Schedule patients for future hygiene visits based on recall intervals
• Deliver excellent patient care with professionalism and compassion

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license
• Caring, punctual, and team-oriented personality
• Ability to provide gentle but thorough care
• Anesthesia license is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred
