Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Scrub and/or circulate on a broad range of surgical cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, TAVR, TCAR, ECMO, Impella insertion/removal, and thoracic/lung procedures
• Fulfill on-call obligations including one night per week (2:30 PM – 6:00 AM) and every fifth weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 6:00 AM)
• Participate in possible holiday call coverage as required
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or Tennessee state license required)
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Demonstrated broad competency across cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented and verifiable; candidates must pass a one-attempt Epic competency exam

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO and Impella device management
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR setting
