Preferred: ACLS, APHON, CHEM (ONS/ONCC), CPHON, CPON, NIHSS, OCN, ONS/ONCC, PALS Accessing/Managing Ports, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Advanced directives, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Antiemetics, Calling in prescriptions, Care and management of ports, Constipation/diarrhea, Corticosteroids, Dysphagia, External Beam Radiation Therapy (Teletherapy), Fatigue/Energy level, Height/Weight, Hemorrhage, Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Increased intracranial pressure, Inpatient oncology, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Internal Interstitial Brachytherapy, Internal Intracavitary Brachytherapy, Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV push narcotic agents, Medication tolerance/dependence assessment, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Monitoring of Medication side effects, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Neutron Beam Therapy, Notification of physician to changes in patient status, Nutritional status, Opioids, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Oral cavity, Outpatient oncology, Palliative Radiation Therapy, Pediatric oncology, Proton Beam Therapy, Radiation Oncology, Radiation safety precautions, Recognize/communicate abnormal lab values, Skin integrity, Spinal Cord Compression, Starting Peripheral IVs, Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Total Body Irradiation, Tracheostomy care, Transdermal patches, Unsealed Radioactive therapy, Venipuncture, Withholding/withdrawing treatment, Wound Assessment, Wound care

Unit Details: Interdisciplinary Support: Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: Genitourinary cancers, gynecological cancers, head and neck cancers, breast cancer, GI cancers, central nervous system cancers, osteosarcomas etc. Special Procedures/Unit Details: HDR brachytherapy, Gamma knife radiosurgery Special Equipment: - #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: All RTO disclosed at time of submittal. RTO needs approval from the manager at time of offer. No additional requests will be accepted mid-contract. RTO cannot be within the first two weeks of start Locals: Accepted and have the same rates as Travel Charting: Epic; refer to UD on whether required or preferred Certs: BSN required for all RN positions; CA license in hand required for all RN positions Return Staff: ANY employment with any University of California medical facility and any of their acquired facilities MUST be included with employment history. Must provide dates worked, units worked, manager name/s upon submittal for a rehire eligibility check with HR References: 2 references from most recent employer needed at time of submittal Travel Pairs: Allowed but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit Floating: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite job specifications Teaching Hospital Experience: Required Modules: Modules are non-billable. Modules vary by unit/specialty/position and can range between 1 hour to 24 hours. Anything over 24 hours is billable. Modules are completed pre-start and annually. Start Date: Travelers with a Monday start date in allied fields or outpatient/ambulatory positions may start sooner if they are cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the original start date. Travelers booked for Tuesday start dates in a nursing/inpatient nursing position may not start sooner than what was booked. If traveler is cleared to start sooner than the Wednesday before the start, travelers start date may only be moved up with permission of PM. Orientation registration is 4:00pmPST on the Monday the week before the Tuesday start date. Failure to email PM and obtain approval to start sooner before the deadline will result in start date remaining as is. Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks:126
