Kitchen Manager - Chick-fil-A Newport

As a manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing a talented team, and ensuring that Chick-fil-A remains a beloved destination for our guests and team. Reports to: Director of Operations

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
• Must be able to fulfill a fixed schedule from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a solid business and financial acumen to manage resources, limit waste, and make informed decisions.
• Must have a proven track record of leading change effectively in a high-volume business.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and leadership.
• Must have a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high guest satisfaction standards.
• Must be able to solve problems effectively to address operational challenges and ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Must be able to lead, train, retain, and mentor team members to success.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Expectations:

• Effectively guide the kitchen management team to achieve our goals.
• Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations during a shift, including food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize quality.
• Ensure compliance with all Chick-fil-A policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Guarantee an exceptional guest experience by addressing concerns, maintaining a welcoming environment, and upholding Chick-fil-As commitment to hospitality.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Follow assigned training programs by the Restaurant Directors team to equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge for success.
