Urgent Care Veterinarian

About the Position BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a full‑time Urgent Care Veterinarian for its Port Washington, Wisconsin location. The role involves managing emergency and urgent care cases, working independently while collaborating closely with specialists across internal medicine, surgery, oncology, and critical care. The position offers a dynamic work environment, on‑site social workers, interns, and a range of support services to promote staff well‑being. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency and urgent care to pets, assessing and treating cases in a fast‑paced setting. Manage own patient cases while coordinating with specialists and support staff. Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations as required by the practice schedule. Maintain accurate medical records and comply with state veterinary regulations. Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with current licensure in Wisconsin. Board‑certified or board‑candidate status in small animal practice preferred. Experience in emergency or urgent care settings; ability to perform advanced procedures. Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate client care. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
