Project Accountant

Growing Construction Firm with a Great Culture! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Project Accountant to join our fast‑paced Accounting + Finance team. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Job Details Responsibilities include: Oversee all project accounting functions, including job costing, project budgeting, and financial analysis. Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes. Manage all aspects of Construction Accounting, Commercial Real Estate Accounting, and CAM Reconciliations. Maintain the general ledger (GL) and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Analyze complex financial reports and records. Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed. Handle financial auditing for all accounting and financial departments. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Construction Accounting, CAM Reconciliations, Job Costing, Project Accounting, Commercial Real Estate Accounting, Ledger, GL, and Financial Statements. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software packages. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with precision. CPA certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. High level of integrity, dependability, and results orientation. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
