Inspection Supervisor

A growing precision manufacturer is seeking an experienced Inspection Supervisor to lead day to day inspection activities at a newly acquired site. This is a hands on leadership role overseeing a team of inspectors across multiple shifts, working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. The role is ideal for a working supervisor who thrives on the shop floor, knows inspection inside and out, and wants to build and develop a team in a fast moving environment. Inspection Supervisor What You Will Do Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the inspection team across multiple shifts, ensuring timely and accurate inspections Implement and enforce inspection procedures, standards, and documentation protocols Train, mentor, and evaluate inspectors to maintain high performance and compliance Review inspection reports and ensure proper documentation of findings Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions Monitor and analyze inspection data to identify trends and drive improvements Lead root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives Participate in internal and external audits as required Inspection Supervisor What You Bring 3-5 years of experience in inspection, quality control, or manufacturing Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD and T Solid understanding of inspection tools, techniques, and documentation practices Familiarity with ISO standards, AS9100, or other relevant quality frameworks Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as needed Inspection Supervisor Compensation and Opportunity Strong base salary with competitive benefits Opportunity to build and lead an inspection team at a site with significant expansion plans Close exposure to machining, quality engineering, and customer driven inspection activity Ability to make a visible impact in a fast paced, multi hat environment Relocation considered for a strong fit #J-18808-Ljbffr Nbutexas
