Die Service Technician

Job Description Job Description CAPT is the North American location for Honda Foundry's world-renowned engine and frame component manufacturing. These products become part of legendary Honda automobile engines and suspension systems. True to our roots, CAPT manufactures only the highest quality engine components for Honda Motor Co., and its customers worldwide. We are looking for Die Technicians to join our team! Key Responsibilities: * Inspect, repair, install, and maintain dies and tooling components * Read blueprints and use measuring tools * Perform routine preventative maintenance on dies * Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion to help minimize downtime * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance * Basic machine set up such as lathes, and mills * Welding experience is a plus * Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to work 2nd / 3rd shift * Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings * Prior use of precision measuring tools * Previous experience in die maintenance and repair * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills * Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment * Previous welding experience or willing to be trained * Ability to handle a physical workload * Experience working with CNC Mills and 3D models is a plus Working at CAPT offers excellent wages and great benefits for you and your family: Low-cost medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting day one Overtime compensation Bonus programs Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and two paid company shutdowns 401K plan with matching contributions Defined pension plan Tuition assistance for associates and family members Health club reimbursement Shift premium This is not a position that offers Visa Sponsorship.
