If recommended, an offer will be extended. RTO and start date will need to be approved by the unit manager. Drivers license is required. Unit size varies from 17 to 41 beds. Patient ratios for CNAs are 1:8-10. Common diagnoses and types of patients include Sitter, floating to any floor. Duties and patient population will vary by floor. Sitter utilization will come first, then CNA duties. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, feeding, ambulation, turning/positioning, and hourly rounding. No catheter or IV insertion or removal is required. A charge nurse is available each shift without an assignment. Some units may have resource nurses without assignment. A house supervisor is present 24/7. Schedule will be created around requested time off. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Holiday requirements will fill in where there is a need. Floating will primarily occur within the assigned hospital. If not needed at the primary location, floating to other hospitals in the region will occur. Scrubs must be professional and any color is acceptable. Candidates must be flexible and maintain a positive attitude.
