Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring C-section experience and 1-2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Caseload of 30-35 cases per week
• Uses DaVinci X Robot and Stryker equipment
• Charting in Meditech EHR
• Every other weekend required
• Self-scheduled call requirements including 1 weekday every week and 1 weekend within every 4 weeks
• Minimal floating, occasionally to linen services or med/surg as a sitter after training

Requirements

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility required
• C-section experience required
• Robot experience preferred, or willingness to learn
• Must clear Iowa SING background check including criminal and child abuse portions prior to start
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates required
• Titers required within last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB)

Additional Information

• Provide surgical nursing care within the Operating Room
• Monday or Tuesday start dates accepted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
