We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in Interventional Psychiatry to join our compassionate healthcare team part-time (2 days per week) at the Diamond Bar clinic location. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive mental health care, focusing on innovative treatment methodologies for patients struggling with treatment-resistant depression.
- Supervision of all elements and staff for Spravato (esketamine) treatments (training provided). Note: As the clinic specializes in Spravato (esketamine) treatments, this role does not focus on Medication Management as a core service.
- Assist the Medical Director in all aspects of patient care offered at the clinic. Currently the clinic does not offer telehealth encounters as all treatments are administered in person at the clinic.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of patients dealing with behavioral health challenges.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with clinic policy, regulatory, and best practice standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new treatments, therapies, and interventions in psychiatry.
- Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with patients, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal requirements in providing psychiatric care and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Part-time - Currently two days per week in the clinic (presently Monday and Wednesday but subject to change in the future).
