Experienced Shipping/Receiving Data Entry Clerk with 2 yr SAP

Shipping/Receiving Data Entry Clerk

Brown Eagle is experiencing significant growth and currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Data Entry Clerk with a commitment to excellence in safety and quality to join the team at our Corporate Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This individual should be detail-oriented, a self-starter and capable of driving continuous improvement in the company's efforts to keep high standards of shipping and receiving. The Shipping / Receiving Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to, scheduling shipments, data entry, problem solving and working closely with our internal customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Record shipments and inventories in SAP (must know SAP T-codes)
Coordinate, and maintain shipping/receiving requests and documents
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including creating BOLs
Create complete receiving and shipping transactions
Ensure compliance for the Shipping Department to all company and government safety standards.
Prepare reports and file shipping/receiving records
Assist in resolving any daily shipping and receiving discrepancies

Qualifications, Education and Required Skills:

Proficiency with database applications (SAP)- TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE
Must be willing to work flexible and extended hours as required, including some weekends.
High School diploma or equivalent.
The ability to read, write, understand and speak English
A minimum of 2 years of previous work experience in shipping/receiving
Detail oriented; Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Microsoft Office experience.
Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects.
