Looking for a qualified Certified Medication Aide to join our team! Location: Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill Assisted Living FacilityJob Type: Full-Time/Part-Time -  Observations must be current. We are searching for a Certified Medication Aide to join our community that is resident, and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a culture. If you are a Certified Medication Aide who is team-oriented, driven, and excited about the opportunity to build a culture, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Major ResponsibilitiesVerifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms.Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective or contraindicated by consulting with supervisory nurse. Notify supervisor when making the decision not to administer. Takes and records vital signs upon administration of medications when required.Orders and re-orders medications in compliance with federal and state regulations.Maintains neat, clean, and orderly medication room and cart. Takes appropriate precautions to make sure residents / patient do not have access to medications other than those prescribed. Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.Ensure effective interactions with patients and families.Ensure compliance with resident's rights policies.Attend and participate in care team conferences or meetings as directed by supervisor.Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.Minimum QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent, or experience as required by state regulations.Completed 24-hour training program provided by NC Board of NursingPassed a State-administered competency exam.You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.Pay and BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time off and holidays Why Join Our TeamGet paid in advance with us: We offer access to your earned but unpaid wages.Shift options: Mornings, Afternoon, and Night's shift options available.
