Compliance Specialist; Buffalo Homecare Inc. (Buffalo, NY); F/T position. Ensure that the homecare agency operates in accordance w/ federal, state, & local regulations. Monitor internal processes & documentation to ensure compliance w/ healthcare, employment, & licensing laws. Assists in developing & maintaining policies, procedures, & training programs for staff. Collect, analyze, & report on compliance-related data to management. Conducts audits & investigations of operational procedures to identify gaps & recommend improvements. Maintain knowledge of legal & regulatory changes & provide guidance to management &staff. Coordinate w/ external auditors or regulatory agencies as req'd.
