Pest Control Technician

Position Overview Service Professional – Pest Control TechnicianLocation: San Mateo, CA (road in the area around San Mateo, CA). The position reports to the main office in Fremont, CA once per week. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $23.50 – $25.50 per hour Uncapped customer upgrade and referral bonuses Company iPhone, vehicle, and gas card provided Paid overtime opportunities Paid training, health, dental, and vision plans, pet insurance, life insurance, EAP benefits 401(k) with employer match up to 4% Paid holidays and paid time off Opportunity for advancement and an upbeat company culture Ability to work outside in the local area, including following the assigned route every other Saturday Responsibilities Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order Keep accurate records of treatments provided Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws Serve as a subject‑matter expert for customers, implementing the most efficient pest solutions Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of any issues encountered on service routes Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use and keep the product backpack (approximately 50lb) ready for route work Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past four years) Drug test and background check performed on all new hires No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided Equal Opportunity Statement Aptive Environmental is an equal‑opportunity employer.
