Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs and to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices. Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that foster a sense of community and provide valuable resources to individuals facing mental health challenges. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to develop a coordinated care approach that holistically addresses patient needs. Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for patients. Remain attentive to best practices in mental health by staying up to date with ongoing research and emerging treatment methodologies. Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems to comply with legal and ethical standards. Actively participate in case consultations, professionalism workshops, and regular team meetings to enhance your clinical skills and contribute to collective knowledge. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will primarily focus on serving a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required; a master's degree is preferred. Current and valid licensure in the state of Colorado as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong grasp of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches. Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop ethical, effective treatment plans tailored to each patient. Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to establish trustworthy relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Competency in using electronic health records (EHR) and related software systems to maintain patient confidentiality and documentation compliance. A commitment to adhering to professional ethics, ensuring sound judgment, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Preferred Experience Previous experience delivering psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults across diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience in group therapy facilitation, particularly in psychoeducational settings. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and an understanding of how to respond effectively during emergencies. Background in integrating patient education about mental health treatments and community resources into therapy sessions. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
