Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager with Security Clearance

Job Overview NSI is hiring a Journeyman Acquisition Logistics Manager to support Life Cycle Logistics for the E-6B at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities Provide technical and management discipline for design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement/modification of cost-effective systems. Offer acquisition and/or operational advice to journeyman and junior logisticians. Plan, schedule, coordinate, and estimate major complex tasks. Direct all acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering activities. Support maintenance planning, technical data, manpower/personnel, computer resources, supply, facilities, support equipment, training, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation. Qualifications BS or BA in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, Management Science, Program Management, Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, Contracts Management, or a related discipline. Six (6) years additional Acquisition/Operational Logistics support or Maintenance Engineering and Program Management experience, or AA degree plus four (4) years of such experience. 3 to 10 years of experience in Acquisition Logistics Support/Maintenance Engineering, including E‑6 aircraft operations or maintenance of systems in the field. Secret Security Clearance required; must be a U.S. citizen. Location Oklahoma City, OK – Tinker Air Force Base.
