Junior Data EngineerLocation: Plano, TX/ San Antonio, TX/ Phoenix, AZ (ONSITE) FulltimeMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsSnowflake, DBTRoles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured dataDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and dbtBuild efficient and scalable data models (star/snowflake schemas) using dbtDevelop and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data transformationImplement ELT workflows leveraging Snowflake architectureCollaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutionsSchedule and monitor jobs using tools like Control-MPerform data validation, testing, and ensure high data qualityTroubleshoot pipeline failures and performance bottlenecksWork with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet) in SnowflakeMaintain documentation for data pipelines and modelsWorking knowledge of Python for data processing and scriptingExperience with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scriptingFamiliarity with Control-M or any job scheduling/orchestration toolsBasic understanding of data pipeline orchestration and monitoring
