Allstate Auto Experts is a rapidly growing, high-volume automotive repair facility in DeSoto, Texas looking for an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician who can confidently handle:
- Brake system repairs
- Steering & suspension work
- Bolt-on mechanical repairs
- Cooling system repairs
- Tune-ups & maintenance
- Basic drivability diagnostics
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Scan tool usage & code interpretation
This is not an “oil changer with a dream” position. We need someone who can move with urgency, communicate clearly, and produce quality work without turning the shop into a smoke machine of comebacks and excuses.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing common vehicle issues efficiently
- Performing brakes, suspension, steering, and maintenance repairs
- Conducting vehicle inspections with clear documentation
- Working closely with service advisors and teammates
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
- Helping maintain a fast-moving, positive shop culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong brake and suspension experience required
- Ability to perform basic diagnostics independently
- Experience with domestic and Asian vehicles preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools required
- ASE certifications are a plus, not a requirement
- Positive attitude and team mentality
