Facility: Adroit Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Position: Cook (Part-Time) Location: Rahway, NJ Shift: Part-Time – Afternoon Shift Salary: $18 per hour Join Our Culinary Team Adroit Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is dedicated to providing compassionate care and high-quality services to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our dietary team. In this role, you will play an important part in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, delicious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards are maintained. Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide efficient and high-quality meal service. Follow modified diets and adapt meals to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Requirements Prior cooking experience in a nursing home, healthcare facility, or similar setting preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and batch cooking techniques. Ability to follow menus and dietary restrictions accurately. A genuine passion for preparing meals that support residents’ health and well-being. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
