A distinguished plaintiff-side legal services organization is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to lead high-value personal injury matters involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic claims. Position Summary
The Senior Attorney will lead personal injury litigation strategy, trials, depositions, legal arguments, and case resolution efforts while guiding associates, paralegals, and legal assistants. This position is responsible for developing favorable case strategies, representing clients in complex injury matters, and helping drive strong settlements and verdicts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trials and depositions in personal injury litigation matters.
- Review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
- Prepare and deliver legal arguments in personal injury matters.
- Represent clients in wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic injury cases.
- Lead and support associates, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Collaborate with internal legal teams to advance case strategy and client outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of legal work, client advocacy, and professional communication.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum three years of experience specializing in personal injury litigation and trial work.
- Experience leading trials, depositions, pleadings, motions, and litigation strategy.
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in complex legal and client situations.
- Adaptable with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading associates, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Experience with high-value wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, or major orthopedic injury cases.
- Demonstrated history of achieving strong settlements, verdicts, or litigation outcomes.
