Tool Room Assistant- Preventative Maintenance Technician

We have an opening for a Tool Room Assistant- Preventative Maintenance Technician at our Lindstrom, MN facility.

Duties:

• Repair & Maintenance of a variety of dies, tools, jigs, and other fixtures as required.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling for continued operations of production orders.
• Perform insert changeovers on multiple part tooling.
• Support and communicate with multiple company departments with any tooling needs and status of work.
• Perform grinding, milling operations, polishing and fittings on projects as required.
• Participate in multiple projects and balance priorities, maintaining customer-focused priorities at all times.

Requirements:

• Strong trouble shooting skills
• Experience working from complex prints, sketches, samples, or other instructions
• Experience running manual machine tools under limited supervision
• Experience using precision measuring & gauging equipment
• Experience using machinists' hand and power-driven tools
• Experience using material-handling equipment
• Willingness to perform other work as necessary to meet production demands
• Follow all safety and work rules and practices
• Independent and willing to take initiative
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with occasional overtime

Hourly wage commensurate with experience.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
