Civil Engineer

Koenigsberg Engineering, P.C. (“KEPC”) is a Professional Firm formed in 1998. KEPC specializes in exterior façade inspection, maintenance, repair, and restoration. KEPC has provided repair specifications and construction monitoring support for hundreds of buildings in New York City. KEPC provides engineering support for all aspects of the project, including: (1) preparation of detailed repair specifications and drawings; (2) competitive bid solicitation based on unit cost and lump sum prices; (3) bid analysis and contract negotiation; (4) all drawings, documentation, and seals to obtain permits; (5) construction monitoring, detailed accounting of repair quantities; and (6) invoice review and project close-out services. Role Description Design and revise CAD documents, including site plans, building plans, repair drawings, permit drawings, and drop sheets. Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and material and construction specifications. Assist with the preparation and assembly of bid documents. Support project objectives, budgets, and scheduling timelines. Assist field engineers with on-site inspections and perform field inspections as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of façade restoration experience , preferably with familiarity in FISP (formerly Local Law 12) . be interested in architecture and landmark preservation; minimum a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a minimum 3+ years experience working in AutoCAD; be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe; willingness to work in the field in all 5 boroughs of NYC; comfortable with performing building inspections via fire escapes, boom lifts, pipe scaffolds, and suspended scaffolds; #J-18808-Ljbffr Koenigsberg Engineering, P.C.
