If we have your attention, please continue reading!Full Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Transferring and positioning of the clientObserving and reporting changes in physical and mental conditionsSkin care - assist in applying over the counter lotions to prevent dry skinClean and maintain medical equipment - power wheelchair, hospital bed, shower chair, and Hoyer liftAccompaniment of client when out of home to grocery, doctors appointment, or pharmacy errands.Prep/clean after a mealBasic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry)Personal care assistance (toileting - incontinence)Bathing - perform a skilled transfer into shower using transfersDressingsCompanionship and conversationRequirements:Day shiftBe at least 18 years of ageAt least 2+ years of related caregiving experience.Valid Driver’s LicensePersonal vehicle with current auto insuranceAbility to pass a drug testAbility to pass a background checkAbility to lift 50 LBSCompensation: $17.00 - $18.00About Griswold Home CareWhat does it mean to “live assured”? Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates.
