Quality Engineer I

Key Responsibilities:

Develop quality procedures, specifications, and standards .
Support CAPA/corrective and preventive actions .
Collect and analyze gauge and product evaluation data .
Support new product quality requirements , including gauges, materials, and inspection methods.
Work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
Perform product testing, inspection, and audits .
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and other functions.

Must-Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Basic quality engineering knowledge.
Blueprint reading & GD&T .
FMEA and product testing.
Basic knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO regulations and Design Assurance.
Experience with CMM and Optical Comparator .
Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

CQE certification .
Medical device experience , especially orthopedic products.
Supplier quality experience.
Up to 20% travel .
