Groundskeeper

Groundskeeper Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Remove litter and ensure safe conditions.
• Empty trash bins, sweep sidewalks, and maintain overall cleanliness of outdoor areas.
• Drawing lines on athletic fields ahead of sporting events.
• Assist in the cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of athletic fields before and after sporting events.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including a pickup truck and Kubota tractor.
• Snow removal and salting of walkways to ensure a safe walking environment.
• Perform other tasks, as assigned by supervisor.

Groundskeeper Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of groundskeeping experience. (preferred)
• A valid, unexpired driver's license. (required)
• Able to operate a motor vehicle and Kubota tractor.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Able to maintain focus while working individually.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to work outside for extended periods of time.
• Able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and fingerprinting in accordance with local laws and regulations.
