Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and assist physicians during complex interventions in the Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any physiological changes promptly.
• Assist physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures, including electrophysiology studies.
• Document patient information, procedure details, and clinical observations accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies needed for procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active and current RN license.
• Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar cardiovascular setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, or nights.
