This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to contribute to mental health care from the comfort of your own home while being part of a vibrant health clinic platform. Our community health clinic fosters a team-oriented atmosphere, where therapists collaborate closely to ensure comprehensive care for all clients. The flexible schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM accommodates both therapist and patient needs, with adjustments as necessary to ensure patients receive the attention they deserve.

  • Conduct individualized therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

  • Engage in couples and family therapy sessions aimed at improving relationships and family dynamics.

  • Thoroughly assess clients' mental health status and develop customized treatment plans employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy.

  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists to create an integrated care approach, leading to optimal patient outcomes.

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in therapy and mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work primarily with diverse populations in the Simi Valley area, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and family conflicts. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and it is crucial for the candidate to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in their therapeutic approach to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited program.

  • Active, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services.

  • Proficiency in performing in-depth diagnostic assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for establishing rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
