Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for patients, residents, and staff, adhering to dietary guidelines and preferences

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards

• Order and receive ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and manage inventory levels

• Collaborate with the dietary department to plan and implement menus and meals

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients, residents, and staff receive prompt and courteous service

• Assist with special events and functions, preparing meals and serving guests

• Maintain accurate records and reports, as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred

• 0+ years of experience in a healthcare or restaurant setting, with a focus on cooking and customer service

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
