Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Odessa, Texas. This position involves providing patient care in the emergency department, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care for emergency patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; minimum 2 years of relevant experience including prior travel experience; RN license in the state of Texas; candidate must have at least 1 year of emergency nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume emergency department; familiarity with stroke protocols and Navy scrubs uniform.
• Additional Information: All travel submissions must include documentation of prior travel experience. No local candidates will be considered. All assignments are at a PWP facility, meaning vendor payment depends upon facility payment confirmation.
