Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Land Development to take on a pivotal role in the creation of a large-scale residential community. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading all horizontal land development operations for the project, including budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, construction oversight, and long-range infrastructure planning. This executive position demands a hands-on approach and the ability to effectively manage a wide range of stakeholders, from consultants and contractors to government officials and utility providers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, over 10 years of progressive land development leadership experience, and a strong background in Arizona residential master planned communities, with a focus on grading, earthwork balancing, and utility infrastructure. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Land Development at the company include engineering and design management, construction management, and governmental and regulatory relations. The role requires a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of Arizona's municipal entitlement and permitting processes, as well as experience in managing complex land development projects from inception to completion. The candidate should be adept at coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, and managing the financial aspects of the project. Preferred experience includes familiarity with CFD reimbursement districts, strong CMAR and public bidding experience, and knowledge of SWPPP compliance and environmental regulations.
