Respiratory Therapist

Gifford Medical Center is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist to work in our Randolph, VT location. Responsibilities The Respiratory Therapist will provide technical/operational knowledge of all Respiratory Therapy modalities in the Cardiopulmonary department. The Respiratory Therapist will follow established Hospital and Department policies and procedures and complete all required competencies as related to noninvasive ventilation, invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, newborn hearing screening, arterial blood gases, hand‑held nebulizer, holter monitoring (hookup and scanning), EKG, and MUSE editor. Strong time management and organization skills, ability to multi‑task, and effective communication in a professional manner are fundamental to the role. Qualifications Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) by NBRC Must hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the State of Vermont.
