Associate Brand Manager - Curlsmith

This role supports the Curlsmith brand within the Beauty & Wellness division, which supplies consumers with trusted products ranging from styling tools to wellness devices. Position Details Associate Brand Manager, Curlsmith – Marketing for Curlsmith, Boston, MA, Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Responsibilities Drive success and consumer love for the Curlsmith brand in the U.S. Plan, organize, and direct marketing activities to achieve short‑range and long‑range business objectives. Assist in the development of marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity. Work closely with marketing colleagues to bring these plans to life, setting clear objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments. Develop and execute 360° marketing plans with the Sr. Brand Manager, and build and maintain a detailed marketing calendar that consolidates all priorities and activations. Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Creative, and other internal and external teams to bring plans to life. Monitor campaign performance to ensure commercial goals are met or exceeded. Work closely with Sales to facilitate the selling process, including retailer strategy, pricing analysis, follow‑up on call reports, PowerPoint presentations, market data, samples, and artwork. Partner with Sales, Trade, and Integrated Marketing to ensure in‑store and online experiences are seamless for consumers. Manage the selling‑expense budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and successful execution of brand activations. Conduct ongoing business‑performance reviews to evaluate SKU profitability, validate each product’s strategic role, and ensure proper positioning within the Curlsmith portfolio and against competitive offerings. Monitor product movement and market share using POS data and sources such as Nielsen, Circana, and Profitero; provide ongoing strategic and tactical recommendations. Conduct regular store checks and assess competitive product offerings to stay informed on marketplace trends. Create communication tools (charts and graphs) for sales, management, and customer presentations. Work with Finance, Sales, and the Sr. Brand Manager to develop annual sales forecasts; align with the Demand Planning Analyst and Sales for monthly forecasts. Work with supply chain, engineering, quality, program managers, and creative to maintain item information—including product specs, part numbers, descriptions, and engineering change requests. Skills & Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions. Excellent follow‑through and attention to detail. Basic understanding of costing, pricing financial analysis, and P & L management. Experience in product and packaging development/management. Knowledge of retail pricing, promotion, distribution, merchandising, and overall customer journey. Strategic thinking with the ability to act tactically. Experience working cross‑functionally across an organization. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Comfortable presenting to peers and management. Strong project and time‑management ability and organization skills. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 3+ years’ marketing experience in the consumer products/beauty arena. Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Preferred Qualifications MBA in marketing and management.
