LV Switchgear Electrical Lead

Job Summary We’re looking to add a LV Switchgear Electrical Lead in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the LV Switchgear Electrical Lead is responsible for leading a team of employees in completing assigned manufacturing projects related to electrical assembly and wiring of low voltage switchgear components. Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Typical Day Oversee the work of assigned team employees Address minor discipline problems with team members and refer more serious cases to the supervisor Assist with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new team members in partnership with the training specialist and team trainer Collaborate with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegate assignments based on team members’ skills and experience Assist team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments Inspect work performed by team members Track and log workers’ time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes Partner with the supervisor or production manager to resolve any issues that arise within the department Maintain a clean and safe work area Complete assemblies and sub‑assemblies for manufacturing projects, as needed Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly or related field Prior experience in effectively leading a team of employees Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements Basic understanding of tools (ex. tape measure, impact drill, etc.) Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time. Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.
