Description We are seeking a full-time Fleet Technician to perform a variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of our fleet. The ideal candidate will have previous diesel mechanic experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and complete repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment Inspect and repair diesel engines, suspension systems, clutches, Allison transmissions, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, steering systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and air brake systems Perform assigned work duties in a safe and efficient manner Properly diagnose driver complaints and equipment issues Identify root causes of part and component failures Maintain a clean and professional work environment including tools and equipment Perform welding repairs as needed Maintain Minnesota Inspection Certification or willingness to obtain certification Must have tools necessary to perform job duties Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of diesel engine repair experience Minimum of 2 years of mechanical knowledge or related experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have personal tools required to perform job duties Preferred Qualifications Welding experience Experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment Additional Job Requirements Diesel Engine Repair: Minimum of 3 years of experience required Mechanical Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years of experience required Must reliably commute or be planning to relocate prior to starting employment 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Recognition Program Referral program Vision insurance STD LTD Voluntary benefits Schedule/Compensation Information Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Pay Range: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour Requirements Job Requirement Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Required) Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Required) Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work #J-18808-Ljbffr Jimmy Jazz
