We conduct our business with cooperative values and strive to maintain a friendly, fair, and creative work environment, which respects ideas, hard work, and the dignity and worth of the individual.ScheduleMonday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pmFriday overtime optionalAreas of AccountabilityAll areas of accountability to be delivered with GRIT - our values of Generosity, Relationships, Integrity, and TeamworkProduct Assembly & InspectionWork safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and proceduresRead prints to accurately complete final assembly of trailers, boxes, spreaders and attachments – steel and aluminumInstall decals and attachments to trailers and other equipmentAssemble and plumb hydraulic lines (steel and rubber); troubleshoot as neededInstall wiring through various methods (i.e. soldering, crimping); test and troubleshoot as neededInstall air lines for tailgates and wheel assembly; install and align wheelsInstall tarp kits – electric, manual, side to side, front to back, etc.Correctly and accurately operate welding equipment, including plasma cutter and sawComplete final inspection of attachments, tailgates, trailers and spreaders, per the BOM and prior to shippingMaintain housekeeping, maintenance and safety of facility to comply with Company standardsAccurately and legibly complete all paperwork in a timely manner; maintain records, as requiredSituations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal workload.QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment, preferredKnowledgeable of different types of fluids, hydraulic, gear oil – measuring and fillingKnowledge of hydraulic fittingsAccurately read a tape measure to a 1/16" with ability to calculate, as neededAbility to accurately read and interpret documents (i.e. safety rules, instructions, etc.)Ability to lift/carry up to 75 poundsAbility to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and crawl, frequentlyAbility to meet vision requirements – close, distance, peripheral, and depthAbility to work in an environment with extreme heat, cold, and loud noise levelsAbility to perform all hand and wrist movements, continuously
