Cook - FT/PT Seasonal-1

Job Responsibilities We are looking for someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary team. Candidates should have prior experience in a professional kitchen and a strong desire to learn and develop skills alongside the culinary leadership team to create menus reflecting seasonal availability and the restaurant concept. The Cook assists the Chef in production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining. The Cook maintains a passive leadership role in ensuring adequate production levels from kitchen staff. Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry). Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment. Recreate recipes consistently. Maintain food preparation consistency. Learn to minimize food waste through cross utilization. Work with a world‑class culinary team. Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting). Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Ensure proper storage of all food and items. Be responsible for ingredient quality. Maintain adequate production levels from kitchen staff. Qualifications & Requirements Active Food Handler’s certification or the ability to obtain it. Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Able to be on feet for long periods. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. At least 21 years of age. Desire to exceed expectations. Energetic personality.
