Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2186.88/week - Job Summary: Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, the RN will utilize clinical expertise to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes across diverse age groups. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical observations and medical directives. Implement and record patient care activities accurately using electronic medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care. Demonstrate proficiency in managing patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and other acute conditions. Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, treatment plans, and health maintenance. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies throughout daily operations. Qualifications: Current RN license in state or compact license valid at time of application. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting. BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred. Proficient in electronic medical records software, including Epic. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational skills, and clinical judgment.
