Process/Plating Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plating Technician to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating plating equipment, monitoring chemical processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate production records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong attention to detail.

Pay: $19-$26 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Location: Wilton, NH

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plating processes according to established procedures
• Test and analyze chemical solutions, including concentration and pH levels
• Monitor production parameters such as temperature, timing, and current settings
• Make chemical adjustments as needed to maintain process requirements
• Prepare parts and fixtures for plating operations
• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate production and process records
• Support waste treatment operations and environmental compliance procedures
• Assist with solution changes, equipment cleaning, and general maintenance tasks
• Perform rework or stripping of parts when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience with electroplating, chemical processing, or related industrial operations
• Familiarity with quality standards and process documentation
