Job Title: Associate Director of Auxiliary Services Location: UNG - Gainesville Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 300598 Job Summary The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Auxiliary Services. The Associate Director will oversee day‑to‑day operations of campus auxiliary departments, including card services, parking and transportation, and bookstores. The role involves coordinating with other campus departments and participating in university‑wide auxiliary planning and policy development. Responsibilities Strategically implement and direct day‑to‑day activities of Auxiliary Services, ensuring departments (Parking, Card, and Dining) operate efficiently; resolve escalated complaints and manage related staff. Develop and manage performance objectives for university‑operated and contracted services. Work with staff to set operational and financial goals, such as achieving a certain margin in the bookstore, increasing satisfaction rates of parking services, or providing healthier menu options in the dining plan. Coordinate Auxiliary involvement and cooperation with other university departments, including Public Safety, Student Affairs, and Academic Affairs; meet with SGA and other student groups to understand student needs, such as creating additional parking spaces, coordinating lease arrangements, managing the shuttle system, and researching and implementing an in‑house book rental program. Review business procedures and participate in departmental budget processes; make recommendations and implement changes as needed. Assist with audits and USG System reporting by providing information as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining extreme accuracy and efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Georgia driver's license. Four years' experience in higher education administrative services or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications University experience. Proposed Salary $73,155 - $80,470.
