At Didion Milling, Inc., you’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps production humming. Picture this: an early start, a walk-through of critical assets, a quick look at the maintenance backlog, then hands-on work that ranges from fine-tuning conveyors to troubleshooting VFD-driven motors. When a line hesitates, you diagnose, repair, and get us back to peak performance—safely and efficiently.

Schedule & pay

• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm (with on-call rotation)
• Compensation: $30–$40 per hour (experience-based)

What your day looks like

• Partner with operations to deliver dependable maintenance support and drive operational excellence.
• Diagnose malfunctions, perform adjustments and component rebuilds, and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance and spot improvement opportunities that increase reliability and productivity.
• Grow your expertise through certifications and training—on a clear path to Senior Mill Maintenance Technician.

Systems and equipment you’ll keep running

• Basic electrical systems and electrical test equipment
• Pumps, boilers, and compressed air systems
• Conveyors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts
• Motors and bearings
• Valves, piping systems, and instrumentation
• Welding and fabrication tools

What you bring

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; technical school certificate/degree in Industrial Maintenance (or related) is a plus.
• 3–5 years in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting preferred; dry food manufacturing experience is a bonus.
• Your own basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, socket set, pliers, hammer, etc.).
• Working knowledge of basic electrical; intermediate welding skills preferred.
• Computer comfort: web browsers, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software.
• Fluent English for clear, safe team communication.
