Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Manassas, VA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and support student learning and professional development. You will maintain licensure and adhere to state practice acts and clinic policies. You will follow safety and performance improvement practices to support patient and employee safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia PT license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy and competence with comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, and development of functional treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor students or support clinical education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Additional certifications related to outpatient orthopedics or manual therapy are preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
