Maintenance Technician - 1st ShiftTitle: Maintenance Technician - 1st ShiftLocation: Westfield, WI, Wisconsin (US-WI)Classification: NonexemptHours: 4:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. (Thurs, Fri, Sat, every other Wednesday)Wage: $27.00 - $36.79 per hour (based on experience)Job Duties:Preventive maintenanceRepairs to equipment to ensure production up timeBoiler and refrigeration checksEquipment overhauls and updatingPrior experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing and PLC'sPreventive maintenance experience is a plusMust be able to stand and walk up to 12-hours per dayAbility to frequently bend, lift and twistDisplay positive attitude and teamwork skillsAbility to function both independently and in a team-oriented environmentAbility to work overtime and holidays as neededOther duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Potential hazards include high noise levels, slippery floors and temperatures which can vary from cold to warm. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.Qualifications:Industrial Mechanics Degree or equivalent and 3 years' experience OR 5 years on the job experience in an Industrial Mechanics position from the food, foundry, or paper industry. Must display strong communication skills. Should be a good problem solver and strong team player. Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs, up to 12 hours per day. Must meet Maintenance Physical Abilities Evaluation requirements. Must successfully complete all required training including lockout tag out.
