Work Environment

In our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, you will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to inspire recovery. The onsite work setting fosters close collaboration among our healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs. Your role is integral to creating a positive environment that enhances patient engagement and motivates recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities, providing hands-on guidance to ensure correct techniques are utilized to encourage recovery.
• Educate patients about body mechanics, exercise regimens, and home-based strategies to facilitate continued progress outside the clinic.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, as directed by a supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Keep treatment areas organized, ensuring all equipment is maintained and readily available to maximize efficiency during therapy sessions.
• Support interdepartmental collaboration by working closely with other health professionals to create a holistic treatment approach for patients.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with patients, providing emotional support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, with diverse rehabilitation needs ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery. You will work with patients that require various levels of assistance and treatment, ensuring that each person receives a personalized approach conducive to their specific rehabilitation journey. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist.
• Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a rehabilitation facility.
• Experience and comfort working with a diverse patient population.
• Knowledge of specialized therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
