Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Tampa, FL

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:

As a CNA at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff

• Assisting with medication administration and treatments as directed

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

• Participating in care conferences and contributing to the development of individualized care plans

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors

• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and positioning

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with colleagues

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care and services

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or designee

Requirements:

• Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents according to facility policies and procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
