Shift ManagerWe are looking for a Shift Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, including welcoming and serving customers. Shift Manager responsibilities include delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners' queries and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and experience in the food industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable dining experience for our guests and increase our profitability.ResponsibilitiesDelegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performanceMaintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as neededArrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)Help staff resolve on-the-job challengesEnsure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaintsOpen or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasksReport maintenance and training needsSkillsProven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant role in a restaurantGood knowledge of restaurant operations (like managing reservations and payments)Availability to work different shifts, including weekendsBasic knowledge of bookkeeping proceduresA customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalismExcellent organizational skillsTeam management abilitiesBSc in Restaurant Management, Business Administration or similar fieldCertification from a culinary school is a plusRestaurant Line ServerWe are seeking a friendly Restaurant Line Server who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu items. We are a quick serve style restaurant where customers build their bowls down the line like Subway. The Restaurant Line Server will be responsible for taking food orders from customers, building the proper bowl the customer orders and helping the customer down the line. If you have previous experience as a Server in a popular restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.Restaurant Line Server ResponsibilitiesTake customers' food and drink ordersUpsell customers on specialsEnsure that all orders are accurate and made for each customer in a timely mannerSuggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specialsWork closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experienceConfirm orders with any food allergies and restrictionsAssist with keeping line, dinning, and kitchen areas cleanPrep line itemsCheck out customers and ensure the right change is givenRestaurant Server SkillsHigh school diploma/GED required2+ years' Server experience preferredMust be able to work on your feet up to 8 hoursStrong customer service skills requiredAbility to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plusEnsure that items are restocked, and the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shiftJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 to $21.00 /hour after tips
