Discharge Planning / Utilization Review-focused RNDetails Job Type Travel Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Case Management Weekly Pay $2,138 Shift Details Shift Days - 5 x 8 Job Order Details Start Date 10/05/2026 End Date 12/21/2026 Duration 11 Week(s) Float Required NoScheduleMonday–Friday (block scheduling); No weekends or call required.Assignment DetailsContract length varies; orientation hours are non-billable.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years clinical RN experience.Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers.Community hospital experience preferred.RN licensure in GA or a Compact license required at the time of submission.Required certification: BLS.Experience with charting systems required.Familiarity with DRG/ICD-10, appeals/denials processes, and Medicare/CMS regulations.Core clinical skills in discharge planning and care coordination.Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission measures.ResponsibilitiesAssess and evaluate to drive discharge plans.Coordinate services to the appropriate level of care.Initiate and evaluate treatment plans on a daily basis.Monitor length of stay and identify discharge barriers.Conduct concurrent and continued-stay reviews.Ensure compliance with Medicare regulatory requirements.Compliance / NotesFull compliance required to start on schedule; onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. All request time off (RTO) must be finalized at the time of submission; no RTO requests post-offer or onsite. No RTO during orientation week. Traveler expected to work major holidays that fall during the assignment.
