Project Engineer/Field Engineer (2026 Graduate)

Overview This req is for current Construction Management students looking for full time work in December 2025-2026. The Project Engineer/Field will assist with the management of the project under the supervision of the Project Manager and/or Superintendent, to ensure that the project is safe, within budget, on schedule, in compliance with the company’s quality standards and to the customer’s satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with the monthly CPM schedule updates and narratives. Reviewing and processing submittals to achieve the project schedule in accordance with the contract documents. Maintain a complete and current record of submittals, approvals, and re-submittals summarized in the “Submittal Log.” Expediting the material deliveries of subcontractors and vendors in accordance with the CPM schedule and coordinated with the Project Team. Material Receiving – Ensure that material is properly inspected for quantity and quality and is in conformance with contract documents and approved submittals. Management of the RFI Process and ensuring drawings are posted and up to date. Assist in subcontractor preconstruction meetings. Safety Planning and Performance – Actively engaged in the SOS Program. Participation in the S&P Quality Control Program. Cost Control – Manage specific budgets within the cost control. Accumulate all necessary data for monthly owner and subcontractor pay applications, as assigned. Assist with management of field initiated purchasing. Assist with production analysis studies. Closing out the project in accordance with the contract documents and company policy. Assist in change management process. Regular worksite attendance required. Other duties as assigned.
